This fundraising event is a celebration of Broadway in all its fame. The timeless classics we love, the showstoppers that light up today’s stage, and the hidden gems waiting to be discovered. With two acts spanning musical theatre’s golden age to its most exciting modern voices, this is more than a concert. It’s a journey through the songs that define Broadway, and the surprises that keep us coming back for more.
AUDITIONS:
Auditions are happening on November 19th from 7 - 9 PM in Schauffler Hall 117.
We will add another audition date if we get enough interest (Nov. 21st).
Those auditioning are asked to bring in a song from any musical. The song you use at auditions may not be the song you get casted for in the show. The song you use is to show us your sound and your range. So SHOW OFF!
You may bring in:
1. Your own track (we will provide a speaker) -- Ex. Youtube, Spotify, or any other way you can play a digital track or instrumental
2. Sheet music (we will provide an accompanist)
Last Resort Option:
There will be people on the audition panel who have access to the app, Appcompanist. If you are unable to find a track to use on your phone or are unable to get sheet music, email me before November 19th and I can see if your song choice is available on the app! The song may sound different on the app, so please practice your song ahead of time.
It is best to try showing up a few minutes early before your audition time just in case the person auditioning before you ends early or late.
